CELEBRITY VIDEO The Power of Faith and Religious Identification
Demonstrates how easy it is to lose sight of the insidious power of religious identifications and faiths (of all types). 18 Muslim men were arrested in Canada for terrorist plotting (involving the procurement of tons of explosive material of the Oklahoma City bombing type). A poll revealed that 12% of the Canadian Muslim population thought such a bombing of Canadian people would have been “somewhat” (7%) or “completely” (5%) justified.
The only people I know of who think like that in America are fundamentalist Christians. So I started the video with that classic comedy duet by Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson, two days after 9/11.
