Premise:
Yolanda King, daughter of Dr. Martin Luther King, gives a mind shattering perfomance as Odessa, a maid that comes to work for the Spinelli family in upstate New York in 1969. Quickly bonding with the only child, Lisa (Brenda Gate) they learn to deal with desegregation, racism, family values and forgiveness during a very turbulent time in history.
