CELEBRITY VIDEO Lexi, 10/16/08
This is Lexi, whom you may remember from a very old video of mine entitled “Lexi Jumps!” She was that little chestnut filly following her gray mom. She’s since grayed out herself to a lovely dappled coat (including the unique white diamond marking on her hip, and the white spot on her belly). She is a 2005 filly by Coloured Heart (a piebald Irish Sport Horse) out of Jasmine (a gray QH/Arab cross). She is around 14.2, but she moves very much like a horse; her trot and canter are very comfortable. I had a very loose hold on the reins because I was allowing her to get accustomed to me (it was the first time I ever rode her). She was playing with the contact a little, and I was giving her soft half halts through turns, so she occasionally has a little of a funky headset as she figures things out. She has a very willing and inquisitive attitude. She was a fun ride, and I hope to work with her more in the future!
